Bernedoodle

Bernedoodles are an amazing mix between the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle.  They are known for being gentle, friendly, outgoing, and playful.  They are goofy and charming dogs who love to play just as much as they love to cuddle up with their owners.

The Bernedoodle makes an optimal family dog due to their intelligence, playfulness, and laid back nature.  They thrive on being part of the family.  They are very loyal and adore children.  They are medium energy dogs; they love to play as well as to lounge around with you.

As of 2026, we breed mini/medium (15-40#) multi-generational Bernedoodles.  Due to the higher percentage of Poodle, they will be the most hypoallergenic of the dogs that we breed and would be perfect for individuals with minor to high allergies.

As the Bernedoodle is hypoallergenic, social, intelligent, and calm, this breed can make a wonderful service or therapy dog.  They love "to smile" and will spread the joy to whoever they visit!

Why the multi-generational?

 

We have chosen to breed the multigenerational Bernedoodles as they have the highest success rate of hypoallergic coats for individuals with minor to high allergies when compared to the first generation (F1) doodle.  They also have the higher probability in delivering a beautiful color and pattern variation in the litters.
